Adding a health component to each scholarship

Starting with the 2009 school year, we’ve added a health component to each scholarship. Each student receives parasite medication, vitamin supplements, medical exams, and health education workshops for the whole family. This cost of providing these services is $50, raising the cost of each scholarship to $185, but we think it’s well worth it.
